How We Hear

The Outer ear consists of the visible part of the ear, also called the auricle and ear canal. It collects the sounds waves and direct them into the ear drum. Ear drum is a flexible, circle membrane, it vibrate when sound waves strike it.

Middle ear: Middle ear is an air filled cavity. It contains 3 bones (Ossicles), foam a chain and conduct sound vibration from the ear drum to the inner ear.

Inner ear: Inner ear is a fluid filled cavity. It is responsible for Hearing and Balancing. Inner ear consists of two mainly functional parts. In cochlea sound waves transformed into electrical impulses which are sent to the brain. Vestibular system is responsible for sensation of balance and motion.

Hearing Loss

Hearing loss affecting the `greater number of peoples around the world. Hearing loss may occur in one or both ears. In children’s hearing loss can affect the ability to learn spoken language and adults it can influence the social interaction, communications work and relations.

There are 3 Types of Hearing Loss occurs with various causes.

This type of Hearing loss is a combination of both conductive hearing loss and sensorineural hearing loss.
